My First Memory Book

Here is the reason my best intentions to post more often went straight out of the window..I have succumbed to an awful addiction - making albums and books ! Halfway through one I'm already planning the next. As a result I have a number of partially completed items scattered about; this is the only one that has been actually completed and handed over to my younger granddaughter; she loves tea parties and baking, hence the choice of decoration.

I also started to make a Wedding Album - my own - yes, after too many years to mention my long-time partner and I decided to get married, which we did in August. My own album is amongst the incomplete items, I still need to sort out all of the photos.

Now that I've remembered how to do the technical bit, I will post my completed items on here and also on Facebook, where I have joined a number of groups made up of like-minded people; its lovely being able to share ideas and techniques.

Hope its not such a long time to the next time......

FIRST POST FOR A LONG LONG TIME !!!!!

It's so long since I last posted here that I had almost forgotten I even had a Blog. If anyone actually reads this, the eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that things have changed since I last posted. I am now retired from work (hurrah!), and I have acquired a third grandchild (hurrah!). Now that my time is more or less my own I can spend as long as I like on all the pastimes that previously had to be squeezed in around work.

I have not designed anything new for Craftsuprint for several years; I can't really explain why that is, I just seem to have fallen off that particular wagon, but my designs are still there on the site - apart from the ones that required graphics licences; they all had to be taken down.

I am currently occupied mostly with mixed media art. Fortunately all the stash I accumulated whilst creating cards is coming into its own now as I work on my various projects, but that doesn't mean I need an excuse to indulge in any new products that take my fancy.

I decided to resurrect the blog to display some of my projects, which will be my next step. It's not out of vanity, my work is strictly amateur, but I think its important to show others that if you want to do something you should really just have a go! It doesn't matter if the outcome is not perfect, it just has to make you happy in the creating of it. So I shall try to remember how to upload the photos, and will try any show some of my stuff really soon.
