No not really - just fancied a bit of a change from Christmas cards, and of course there are lots of people who have birthdays around Christmas time ~ so I went off on this little French follie, and came up with this series of feminine card designs, so quick and easy to make, so they won't detract too much from all those Christmas preparations, but they will all give you an elegant finish. Great for all those last-minute makes.
These are new graphics, for me at least, from delightful doodles, and I've loved working with them.....now I suppose I'd better get back to thinking about Christmas.......?
The designs have all been uploaded to the CUP site and will be available as soon as validation is completed; if you like them, please click on the banner above.

Christmas away from loved ones
I know there are loads of you, like me, who can't be with all of your friends and family at Christmas time - people seem to be scattered all over the world these days, for lots of different reasons. So I decided to design something that's not mushy, just cute, contemporary, and useful. Hope you like it - there'll be another one along shortly.

We're hurtling towards Christmas !!!!
Last time I updated this blog I was seven away from Silver - that soon came around, and since then I'm happy to say that my sales have been racing along, much to my delight - and surprise. Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to buy my sheets, I hope you continue to pop back every so often and take a peek at what's new.
I've finally accepted that Christmas is just around the corner...as usual I shall be doing everything at the last minute, but in the meantime I thought I'd post up a little selection of Christmas goodies. If you like them, please click on the banner above which will take you to my CUP page

I don't think I'll sleep tonight....
Just 7 more sheets to sell - yes, only 7, and I shall become a Silver Designer for CUP. I think I may have to stay up all night watching the counter; part of me doesn't want to miss it, but then I might get up in the morning to a lovely surprise..or I might still have 7 to go....oh heck, decisions, decisions.

Silver Status Here I Come !!!!
This is just SO EXCITING now, it seems to have taken a long time, but I am finally on the last leg of the race to get to become a Silver Designer on CUP. We are all graded according to our sales, I got to Bronze about 12 months ago, and now I'm so close to the next level, I can almost touch it. I need less than 30 sales now to get there. The nice feeling it brings is hard to describe; it comes from knowing that so many people have liked and purchased my design sheets, and knowing that the cards those people have made have gone towards making someone's day special. I'll never become a millionaire, but I do love working for CUP, long may it
continue.
continue. These are a couple of my latest designs for Christmas 2011 - pop on over to the CUP site by clicking the banner above, and you'll see many of them made up into smashing cards by our fabulous card makers.

The Year's Racing Past
I can't believe how quickly the time is racing past. Last year seemd to pass me by in a blur, this year its even faster. Its trus what they say, the older you get, the faster time passes - and that's a real shame because as you get older, you've often got more opportunity to enjoy it ah well !!!
I've been preparing new designs back on the CUP site - here are just a few examples of my most recent uploads - if you'd like to see more, click on the banner at the top which will take you direct to the site...

Latest uploads to CuP
In case you are looking for a Mother's Day card, here's a rich mixture of brocade, gold lettering and pink roses that may just fit the bill. It could of course be used for a Birthday card too.
Why is it that every time I go on a diet, I can't stop thinking about chocolate ???? Ah well, at least it gave me inspiration for this card and bookmark set, which is proving quite popular. Saturday, 12 February 2011
Its been a while.....

I keep meaning to come back here and keep up to date, but it's just not possible with only 24 hours in a day. I've been pressing on with my designing over on good old CuP - and I'm still enjoying it, even if at times it can become - not stressful - let's say 'challenging' - like when I press the wrong button and lose a couple of hours work...!!!!!
Just in case anyone is desperate for a quick card for Monday - you might want to pop over to Craftsuprint and check out these sheets of mine - they make up into really nice cards, even though I say so myself, and you can see pictures of made up cards on the site too...just click the banner at the top.

Happy New Year Everyone !!

Well here we are at the stat of another New Year - doesn't seem like five minutes since the start of 2010 !!! Where did it all go?
I've managed to get started on this year's new designs, and I've uploaded a new kit to the CUP site. This time I've used graphics by Cheryl Seslar, again under Licence. I've created a cheery and cheeky mini diva surrounded by girly things. The kit can be purchased from the CUP site, and if you like the look of this, please use the banner at the top of the page which will take you direct to the site.
