Berry Precious Birthday

I've added another kit to my website today. This 3D design is becoming very popular, and I've designed this one using graphics from Nitwitcollections.com; I hold a current Licence enabling me to do so.
This version is a bit simpler than others I have seen, it uses single sided card rather than double, and it folds flat to fit inside a standard C5 envelope for posting.
If you like the look of this, please go along to the web site and take a look at this and all of my other designs.

Christmas Card Kits

I'm so pleased - both of my kits have sold and the cards that have been made up are on display on the cUp site. They look lovely, even though I do say so myself. I'm really pleased they've turned out to well.

Happy Christmas Cutie

I've completed and uploaded my second card-making kit to the cUp site.
Please go along and take a look. The card takes only minutes to make, just what you need for last minute jobs...and you get a card that looks as though it must have cost a small fortune.
Don't forget; the price of the kit is £2.00, but you can print it out as many times as you want to, so it represents good vale for money.
Full making-up instructions are included.

Beary Merry Christmas Card Kit

I've finally managed to create my first cardmaking kit, and have posted it onto the cUp site. This is the card I've created; it may look a little complicated, but it is really easy to put together.

The Kit is called : "Beary Merry Christmas" and contains three pages, one for the base card and two sheets containing elements to add on, including a selection of banners such as 'Mum & Dad'; 'Sister'; 'Brother'. There is also a complete set of instructions for making up the card - you'll be amazed at how quickly and easily you can put it all together - and you can personalise it too.
This kit is suitable for experienced crafters and beginners alike........if you're interested, click on the banner above to take you to the Craftsuprint site and type in: cup157560_815
The kit costs just £2.00, but you can re-print it as many times as you like, so that's got to be good value.....

Where does all the time go?

Try as I might, I just cannot get enough hours into the normal day. I've neglected this blog - partly because I'm still unsure how to use it properly.

Since May of this year I've been designing sheets for craftsuprint, and it has just got busier and busier. I've been very fortunate in that so many people have bought my sheets and made some really smashing cards out of them. I love to see what the cardmakers do because they often have very differenct ideas to what originally came into my head when I was designing the sheet.

Here are some of my latest sheets, all Christmas themes of course.

If you would like to see some of these made up into cards, please click on the link above to visit my web page

VDUB 1

Here's a copy of one of the sheets I've designed for Craftsuprint. If you'd like to see it made up into a card, click on the banner above, this will direct yuo to the site, and you'll find a lovely card made up by Kerry Sawyers, one of CuP's registered cardmakers.

Hougie Board

Has anyone else got one of these? I got one about a month ago, and its a real gem. Really accurate measurements, all you need to do is score along the groove, cut and fold. No more faffing about with the ruler - certainly worth investigating.....

This is another finished card I've posted up today. Its a really easy pyramid, so its perfect for anyone new to cardmaking. You might find you get better results if you print it out onto glossy photo paper.

It has just four layers which are easy to line up and fix with sticky pads. I've mounted the finished pyramid and the greeting onto small pieces of green mirror board and then placed these two sections onto the pink background.

The complete topper is then fixed onto an A5 card, I chose green because I'd used green mirror board, but you can change yours to suit. A line of 4 little gems are added bottom right, just as an extra touch of dimension.

If you like to have a go, the sheet number is: cup 81257_815. Just click on the banner at the head of this blog, and you'll be directed straight to the site.

I've uploaded this picture this morning to the CuP site, its made up from one of my earlier sheets; trouble is, there is so much new stuff being added all the time, the earlier sheets tend to get overlooked.
This one is made using sheet no: cup81223_815
If you'd like to have a go, just click on the banner at the top - you are welcome to copy my layouts, but I'd be really pleased to see any variations you might come up with

Can't seem to find enough hours.....

I just can't find enough hours in the day to get on with what I really want to do, which is of course crafting (first and foremost), and getting this blog sorted out.

Most of my spare time seems to be spent on either checking through the Craftsuprint site, or designing new sheets. Then I have to get a few hours shut-eye before dashing off to work again the next morning....

Wearing me out!

I can't decide whether its because I such a computer dummy or what, but its really wearing me out setting up this blog page - its much harder than I thought, and all the instructions seem to contain a language I've never learnt. How I wish I we'd had computers when I was at school - when I was there they hadn't even invented the mobile phone! Still, I'm not one to give up without a fight - so I'll keep on going on.

Hello & Welcome

Hello and welcome to my new Blog! Thanks for stopping by.

This is a totally new experience for me; I'd like to share my passion for crafting - especially card making and designing. I've been a crafter for just about as long as I can remember - I blame 'Blue Peter' and all those empty plastic bottles and sticky back plastic, plus being brought up in a 'make do and mend' environment.

I've recently begun to design craft sheet for Craftsuprint - hence the flashing banner at the top. If you'd like to view my designs, please go along and take a look.

As soon as I can work it all out, I shall upload some of my designs onto here. I hope that they inspire fellow crafters.
